THANK YOU! To all the volunteers that showed up to the Parma Battle yesterday and helped us manage to get 840 wrestlers through our tournament. Whether you were there 3 hours our one of the many troopers that were there start to finish we couldn’t have done it without you!!!

Thank you to the Parma HS coaches and wrestling team for set up, tear down, and reffing. The refs had to deal with intense parents and coaches all day and toughed it out and did a fantastic job!

Thank you to the school for allowing us to put this on. Without the ability to use the school we couldn’t put this on.

I’m sure there are many other I could/should thank. If you were there doing something I missed know that this message is for you too. Yesterday was AMAZING!

Hey friends!

Our wrestling tournament is tomorrow in Parma. We have 775 wrestlers coming from several states! We still need several volunteers to make it run smoothly. If you are available please sign up with the link below. We do this tournament to keep our wrestling registration fee very low, only $25 for the season. We mostly need help from 12:30 to the end, but can use more help all day.

Yesterday was the first Parma Battle for our junior wrestling program. We had over 500 wrestlers from Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Wyoming come to wrestle I’m so proud of our kids! We placed 8th overall as a team, and we were the top club out of the SRV schools that wrestled 😁 we had many firsts, first ever matches, first pins, first wins, so many firsts! Thank you to everyone who came out to help!!! We had 50+ volunteers, including the HS wrestling and baseball teams, with out the volunteers we never could have pulled off this tournament.

It’s not football, but there are a LOT of current jr. football players and future high school players in these two pics! Last year we had about 30 kids to start the wrestling season, this year we have almost 50!!! Great first night of Jr. Wrestling!!! The future is bright for Parma wrestling. GO PANTHERS!!!

These five numbers probably don’t mean a lot to most people. To me they are a huge part of the last 3 months for me. These are our 5 seniors on our team this year. They have endured a season that started off not even sure they would get a single snap this year. The first two games of the year were JV only and they couldn’t play. Us coaches kept promising them we’d get enough kids to play varsity and they stuck around until we did. These five players helped save our varsity season this year. I’m extremely proud to have had one more year with these guys. Last night was senior night and we put their numbers on the P to honor them. Thank you for trusting us coaches and sticking with us! Let’s go get one more win to close out your HS football experience!!!
