One of my ride or dies has lost her 17 yr old daughter to cancer today. I was close to both of them. I am working on putting on a benefit tournament to raise money towards funeral arrangements and to help with food and bills so she can take her time returning to work during this precious process.
As soon as I can lock down a location I will post. But I’m planning on 50/50 home run derby.
A switch hit home run derby.
And!!! Get this! I just made this up, BUNT TO THE CUP! So like putting, the closest to the cup, or in the cup wins that 50/50! If there ate ties, the difficulties will be ampt up.
My heart is broken for this family I became close to this young lady as I drive bet to school she had also endured losing her Dad and half brother while growing up. I’m line driving all my softball family to help. We as parents, daughters, sons, grandparents, to all join. I created this league last year for a reason. Let’s di some good with it!! Cancer is not fair! It effects all of us, one way or another. But ive been around softball since I was 5, and I have made so many close friends. So I’m hoping my worldwide softball family can do some good and let her mom, sister, and family know that they’re not alone.

Hey ya’ll! For those interested in a fall season, here’s the dillio. We can play at Southwood Park field. BUT, we have to have insurance beforehand. It is $500 for the year. We will need everyone that wants to play to commit and be ready to pay/play so I know how to divide the money out per person. This will coat will also include the coat yo pay the umpires for the fall season. So we dont have to remember that $1 every game Since the insurance is covered for the year, if you can’t play the fall schedule, but you can play next spring, you will be required to pay a league fee so we can pay the umpires and just to make it fair for those that helped pay the insurance for all of us to play. Please let me or your coaches know if you are interested!!

Update for Sunday:

We are playing the first week scheduled games that were rained out on May 4th.

Games times will be the normal 2:00, 4:00, 6:00 times.

I know that Rec’N Ball will need extra players at 2:00.

I won’t be there, so please bring your $1.00 and give to Corey for umpiring for us.

This Sunday we are going to do something a little differently. (There will still be women’s league games played at 4:00 and 6:00) A friend of mine is having a tournament this Sunday. We have the okay to put two teams together and enter! This is a good way to show em what we got and help out our youth! If you are interested please message me or your coach! This is a coed tournament so there will be some big hitters!
