Boys All Star tryouts are tonight!!!

Tryouts/callouts for 2027 All Stars will be the following dates/times:

Monday, August 24th
8U Girls: 6:00 (Hall Field)
10U and 12U Girls: 6:00 (Thompson Field)

Wednesday, August 26th
8U Boys: 6:00 (Hall Field)
10U Boys: 6:00 (Thompson Field)
12U Boys: 7:30 (Hall Field)

Girls use their age on August 31st, 2026.
Boys use their age on April 30th, 2027.

We will have a workout on the fields and try on uniforms in the shelter. No payment will be collected at this time.

Here is our proposal for the town meeting tomorrow:

This is a google map photo showing where we would like to build the new field. We moved it as far north as we could to make more room for events and around the pavillion. We didn't want to face it to the southeast because there would be a short fence towards the other field and kids could get hurt from a foul ball.

We left 81 feet between the new field and the pavillion to give plenty of space for people using the pavillion.

We stopped the right field fence short to be able to leave 3 of the 4 trees and to leave more space for the stage and for people to move back for fireworks. We would be glad to replace the 1 tree that would need cut down and plant it where ever you would like.

We included a 20 foot gate at the north end of the 1st base line fence to open and allow cars to park inside the fence at any of your events.

With approval from the town board tomorrow, we would start the project this summer and be able to use it next season.

The meeting is tomorrow (Thursday), at 7PM at the Municipal Building. We hope to see you there!

New Field Update:

We are on the agenda for the August Town meeting to hopefully get a passing vote. We will be proposing to build the new field 50 feet north of the prior proposal per the request of a coucil member. This will leave more green space by the pavillion and save some trees.

When: August 6th @ 7PM
Where: 315 W Jackson St
