Congratulations to the Park River Pirates on becoming STATE CHAMPS!

The 2023 Babe Ruth Tournament has officially come to a close. On behalf of the Park River Park Board, Park River Baseball- Softball Boosters and the City of Park River we would like to thank each and every one of our teams, families and fans for making this tournament memorable, exciting, fun and most importantly a moment in time that your players will never forget. The lessons learned in the sport of baseball go WAY beyond that of the game - what a gift that is to our players!

The outrageous talent, determination and grit witnessed on the field over the past 4 days from our 8 teams has me sending you off with these final words from Babe Ruth himself:

After 3 long and hard days of ball, we are down to 3 teams - the Valley City Kings will take on the LaMoure A’s today at 12:30 - the winner will advance to the championship game against the Park River Pirates @ 3:00

Leave it all on the field, boys! Wishing both teams good luck!
