We have been playing some baseball! We battled to a championship and a runner-up against tough competition so far.
This past weekend we wore our city/player connect jerseys. The front and both sleeves represent Bourbon Co. where all our kids are from.
One sleeve is for the original name of our city, Hopewell and a stoplight representing the inventor, Garrett Morgan. The other sleeve is for our tradition rich history of horse racing.
The Eiffel Tower is a symbol of Paris and the gold crest is a symbol of the Bourbon family of France, both where our city and county name originated. The bourbon barrel is for us being one of the first locations to create bourbon whiskey. The colonel head is to represent where all our kids are expected to play at a higher level. The hat has a Bourbon County outline with a HT to represent our organization.
The back of the jerseys were designed by the players. They each drew or provided any name, their numbers, and any logos.
Thank you Kaylee Hardman and Budrow for working with us to create these!!
