Just a reminder that tonight, Monday, June 20th, 6:00-7:00pm starts our summer practices. These are optional to attend but important to still do the workouts since we’re building up distance every week. It’ll be hot so make sure to stay hydrating.
While summer practices are not mandatory, you should start running to prevent injury as we build up the distance each week, and reaching any goal at the end of the season is based off the work you put in now. If you can’t make it, I’m putting in the workouts for the week below.
HS: M, T, R- 15 min run/walk
W- 2x8 hills, strength
F- 5 min tempo, core
Sat- 25 min run/walk
MS: M, T, R- 10 min run/walk
W- 2x6 hills, strength
F- 2x2 min tempo, 1 min break, core
ES: M, T, R- 2x5 min run/walk
W- 2x4 hills, strength
F- 2x2 min tempo, 1 min break, core
