I know my title says "fitness coach" but honestly, fitness is just one small part of health and wellness. I believe in looking at health and wellness holistically and biblically and providing solutions and transformation in every area, not just physical fitness. I want to help others transform their lives, not just their bodies, and help them live their BEST life in every area. That being said, I'll be dropping things I've learned over the years - things that you can implement. These are things that have massively helped me (and the various people I've coached) in relationships - whether it's family relationships, friendships, etc., - success, all-around mental health and just life in general. We're always ok with letting people feel their feelings until their feelings indicate something against us, but we need to give people the space to feel their feelings EVEN WHEN we are the ones they're expressing their feelings against. As long as they're not mistreating, belittling or verbally abusing us then we need to allow ourselves to be the issue that they need space to discuss. Allow someone to have a grievance against us and give them the space to express and feel their feelings. The same way we treat them when we are giving them the space to feel their feelings about anything else by listening, validating, being understanding, etc., is the same way we should treat them even when WE are the ones they're upset with.
