What a week at the Cal Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge for the 2025 Palos Thunder Red 12U team! Started the day with a 1st round win to advance to the 2nd round in the Silver Bracket but lost to a great team from Rochester, NY. These boys played their hearts out and we are so proud! This tournament was the culmination of a year full of phenomenal growth, teamwork and hard work. Cheers to a fabulous team of boys, coaches and families! GO THUNDER!!!

2025 Palos Thunder Red 12U boys have been battling the heat and some tough competitors from across the country during The Ripken Black Bear Tournament in Pigeon Forge this week. Headed to bracket play tomorrow but made time earlier this week for an awesome team dinner and a night of fun and games with our 50 plus member Thunder family! Can't beat the view while watching the boys of Palos Thunder leave it all on the field! GO THUNDER!!!

Let the games begin! 2025 Palos Thunder Red 12U showed off their skills in the outfield relay, double play contest and home run derby. The Smoky Mountains are the perfect backdrop for a great week of baseball. The first game is tomorrow at 8 a.m. Go Thunder!

Congrats to these 2025 Palos Thunder Red 12U team members for taking home top honors at Palos Baseball Organization - PBO Bronco All-Star Awards. Weston Cusack - Gold Glove, Nolan Woodworth - Homerun Champion & MVP and Oliver Ward- Cy Young! Way to represent!

The boys brought home a victory today for all the baseball Dads/Brothers/Grandpas of the 2025 Palos Thunder Red 12U team, who are so important to us! Happy Father's Day to all!

Palos Thunder Red 12U rallied to top the LaGrange Park Bandits Gold 11-9 on a hot Wednesday night in Palos Heights.

Trailing by 6 runs, our Thunder team flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the 4th, scoring 9 runs on 5 hits to take the lead!

Stellar pitching and hitting and some great defense, got us the W!

It was a banner day for the 2025 Palos Thunder Red 12U team yesterday at the Palos Baseball Organization - PBO Memorial Bronze Tournament! The team's stellar performance in bracket play brought home the Silver Championship!

⚾️ 23 hits
⚾️ .442 team batting average
⚾️ .580 team on base %
⚾️ .913 team fielding %
⚾️ 1.2 team ERA including 11 strikeouts
⚾️ 13 phenomenal players who left it all on the field!

⚾️Oh, what a night! was AMAZING! Family and friends of the 2025 Palos Thunder Red 12U team as well as so many parents and coaches from our Palos Baseball Organization - PBO family showed up to make this event a BIG success!

The fabulous Mama Vesuvio's East was the perfect venue, providing delicious pizza and abundant adult beverages and MG Bailey kept us rocking all night long with incredible music. We raffled off 47 fabulous raffle baskets and gave away more than 40 door prizes! It was a night to remember!

This special group of boys is beyond blessed to have such a supportive community surrounding them! THANK YOU ALL for showing up for this team at and throughout this year of fundraising! We are so grateful for everything our families and our community has done to help us get this team to The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge later this summer!
