Arden Hyatt is headed to South Africa for the IPF Sub-Junior World Championships, representing Team USA for the second time on the biggest stage in the world for her age group.

Last year, Arden made the trip to Worlds in Costa Rica ranked 9th out of 15 lifters. She finished 5th and increased her total by an incredible 30kg (66 lbs).

And she didn’t stop there.

After her senior year season ended taking home first at State in her weight class and best overall lifter, Arden went on to become the 63kg National Champion and Best Female Raw Lifter at High School Nationals in April. She followed that up in May by becoming National Champion at Age Division Nationals and setting a National Deadlift Record.

Now she’s headed back to Worlds — stronger, more experienced, and once again competing in the largest weight class in the Sub-Junior division. This time, she’s right in the mix with the top three and has her sights set on the top spot.

From a small-town high school in Wisconsin to competing against the best lifters in the world, this journey has been pretty incredible to watch. With the non-stop training and giving this sport her all, she has earned every bit of this opportunity.

August kicks off an incredibly exciting month for Palmyra-Eagle Powerlifting!

This weekend, Senior, Bailey LeRoy is heading to St. John’s, Canada and will represent Team USA at the 23rd Annual NAPF North American Women’s Classic Regional Powerlifting Championships on August 4th competing in the 57kg Sub-Junior weight class.

Bailey earned the opportunity to compete on the international stage after placing first in her weight class at Powerlifting America High School Nationals in Omaha, NE in April.

I’ve had the privilege of watching Bailey grow, both as an athlete and as a person. It’s been fun to see all of the opportunities she’s had this summer that have come from the work she has put in over the years in everything she does!

The banners may have arrived a little late, but the pride in what this team accomplished hasn’t faded one bit.

Back in April at Powerlifting America High School Nationals, our Varsity lifters earned Girls Varsity National Champions and Combined Team National Runner-Up honors. Unfortunately, the championship banners weren’t ready at awards.

They finally arrived, so we got the team back together to celebrate the accomplishments they worked so hard for.

Congratulations again to our 2026 Girls Varsity National Champions and our 2026 Combined Team National Runner-Up team! Your hard work has earned a permanent place on our wall. 💜🐾💪🏼

We are so proud of our whole Nationals Team- Varsity competitors, Arden H. - 1st Place, Bailey L - 1st Place, Makayla B - 1st Place and John B -3rd Place, along with our JV National competitors Daisy H - 2nd Place and Sutherland H - 5th Place! You all make PE Proud!

Congratulations to these incredible Palmyra-Eagle Powerlifters on earning Team USA invitations!

🇺🇸 Arden Hyatt has earned her SECOND trip to the international stage and will represent Team USA at the IPF Sub-Junior World Championships in Sun City, South Africa on August 22nd.

🇺🇸 Bailey LeRoy has earned her first Team USA invitation and will compete at the NAPF Championships in St. John’s, Canada on August 4th.

🇺🇸 Makayla Bartosiak has earned her first Team USA invitation and is currently on the reserve list for the NAPF Championships.

These opportunities are earned through dedication, off season lifting, countless hours in the gym, and a commitment to excellence. We are incredibly proud of these young women for their hard work and the way they represent our team, school, and community.
