Superstars Open Martial Arts Championship / Expo Fighting For A Cause on Autism Awareness Month (April) I would like to introduce Kia Kidz Martial Arts Center for Students with Special Needs, Inc.

Kia Kidz has been providing instruction in Ju Jitsu Martial Arts to special needs children in our community since, 2006. Sensei David Miranda and I (Sensei Svetlana Smirnova created Kia Kidz and together we work on teaching skills such as increased attention, flexibility, coordination, balance and determination to our students. Our students range in ages 3 and up. Our students have a broad range of exceptionalities, which include Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and Non Verbal Disabilities. Our students also master their skills along normally developing children and adults. We believe in Inclusion as a further way of helping them reach their potential.
