This quick 3 minute video (we know, we know, it's a full length film in today's world!) showing the installation process for our ice this season. This video represents more than 80 hours of labor for 4 people. We've never done it this way before, and even though we are still tired, we'll never go back to the old way. ;)
We couldn't have done this without the partnership of our neighboring rinks, specfically the Curtis D Menard Memorial Sports Center! They taught us how to install the ice and provided great insight. Ice Ops & Arena Consulting Inc. for getting us everything we needed to make the ice look epic. Matanuska Goaltenders for all of the video and edits (and moral support!). Shout out to Palmer Curling Club for their great work installing their lines and houses. We are so excited for the Pioneer Amateur Hockey Association and Palmer Moose Hockey seasons to kick off and we're proud to host the 10U Minor & Majors Valley Thunder Hockey teams.
