Turtle Tots Swimming Private swim lessons for begginners. I am a certified lifeguard, lifeguard instructor CPR first aid instructor. I have my basic swim instructor certification.

I have been cleared to work with children with the flagler county sheriffs department.

Nearly 90 children drown at home each year... and it's not in the pool!

Bathtubs, buckets of water, toilets, or wandering to open bodies of water are also places where children have drowned. Please be sure to:
🛟 Install alarms and locks on all doors leading outside
🛟 Never leave a child unattended in the bathtub
🛟 Empty the tub of water and toys when the bath is over
🛟 Close the bathroom door behind you when you're done.

2 out of 3 drownings in the home occur in the tub! 🛁

Make sure to:
💙 Drain the tub of all the water after use
🧡 Remove all toys and bottles that a child might be interested in
💙 Supervise the bath at all times.
🧡 Never leave the child unattended in the tub, not even for a second.

Supervision is for all of us. Seeing a lifeguard on duty doesn't mean you can take a break. 🤓
Always have eyes on your kids when at the pool or beach. Being within arm's length of your child in the water is best.
