🏆 Congratulations to PTG 8U! 🏆

The boys have been battling all week in New Smyrna Beach at the GFB Hang Ten World Championship Tournament. They fought their way through some tough competition and earned a spot in the Gold Bracket Championship Game, where they came up just short. On top of fighting their way to the Championship Game, these boys earned multiple individual and team accolades at the skills competition.

This team showed tremendous heart and determination throughout the tournament and all season long. We couldn’t be more proud of these players and coaches for the hard work they’ve put in and the way they represented.

What an incredible season for this group! The future is bright. ⚾

☀️ We hope everyone is having a great summer!

As we begin reaching out for our 2026-2027 season sponsorships, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of the individuals and businesses who have supported the Palatka TailGators along the way.

The trips, tournaments, experiences, smiles, and memories these boys have made would not have been possible without your support of your hometown team.

While the kickoff to the 2026-2027 season may seem like it’s still a ways away, those who have sponsored us in the past know that we pride ourselves on recognizing our sponsors early. We like to have banners made, plaques delivered, and sponsor recognition in place well before the middle of the season so our supporters receive the appreciation they deserve.

We would greatly appreciate your help by sharing this post. If you or your business are interested in becoming a sponsor, please send us a message or reach out to any PTG team parent for more information.

As you can see, our sponsor banner made the trip with us all the way to Shipyard Park in South Carolina and was proudly displayed throughout the entire 2025-2026 season at the top of our backstop. We understand how important sponsorships are to making these opportunities possible, and we remain committed to following through on our end by showcasing and recognizing our sponsors early and often.

As our boys have continued to develop, they have shown they are ready to take the next step by competing against stronger competition. To help further their growth both on and off the field, we plan to participate in several Perfect Game tournaments, along with two major baseball experiences over the next few years.
The first is the Cal Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The second, and the ultimate dream for many young baseball players is competing at All-Star Village in Cooperstown, New York, which has been one of our biggest goals since the Palatka TailGators started out.

We understand these are ambitious goals that require significant planning, fundraising, and support. However, we believe in continually challenging our players and providing them with opportunities to grow, rather than remaining in the same tournaments year after year. Our mission has always been to create memorable experiences while helping these young athletes develop both as baseball players and as young men.

With the support of our families, sponsors, and community, we look forward to seeing just how far these boys can go.
