Just a few of the many highlight reel plays these boys had over the weekend. 🤩⚾️💣🚀

Jackson Williams hit two absolute nukes🚀🚀. One came at a perfect time as we were tied with the 12u team 7-7 and went on to win 9-7 after the two run shot. Way to go Jackson!

One of the videos shows one of the many strikeouts from Ryker DeLoach followed by David Ray Clemons firing a runner out at 3rd🎯. David Ray was throwing absolute missiles from behind the plate, hosing every runner that tried to steal on him. Despite having the throw at the base several steps ahead of the runner, somehow a few of them were called “safe”…. Awesome job David Ray!

The bats were hot this weekend and our outfield made some spectacular catches that you probably wouldn’t believe unless you were there to see it. 😳

Great job PTG!!! Time to get back to work prep for the next one! 💪🏼😤🐊⚾️

We spent the weekend in Ocala at the Bulldogs Baseball Invitational Tournament. John and the Ocala Bulldogs hosted a great tournament with a great turnout. Despite all the weather complications, they made it work out great👏🏻

The PTG boys went 2-0 on Saturday, taking down the Citrus Captains and the Belleview Spartans 12U.

After earning the #2 seed, our 11U boys battled the Belleview Spartans 12U in the semifinal. What turned into an 8-inning, Texas tie-breaker, 3-hour battle had a little bit of everything, including a few calls we’re still trying to figure out. Unfortunately, our 9, 10, and few 11-year-olds came up just two runs short to the 12u Spartans.

We couldn’t be more proud of the way these boys played ball this weekend and the sportsmanship they showed. They battled until the very end, and never quit playing for each other.

Be proud, boys! 🐊⚾️

⚾️🥎 FREE BASEBALL + SOFTBALL CAMP 🥎⚾️

We’re excited to open the field to ALL kids in our community! ❤️

The Palatka TailGators, Palatka Police Athletic League & 386 River Bandits are teaming up to host a FREE Baseball + Softball Camp at Sweet Owen’s Field on Sunday, November 1st at 2:00 PM!

This is NOT an advanced or elite-level camp. Our goal is simple, get kids outside, introduce them to the game, and have some fun!

We’ll go over the basics of baseball and softball, including:
⚾️ Throwing & catching
🥎 Hitting
⚾️ Fielding
🥎 Base running
⚾️ Basic rules & understanding the game
🥎 Teamwork, sportsmanship & having fun

Whether your child has played for years, has never picked up a glove, or is just curious about baseball or softball, we want them there!

We especially want to reach kids throughout our community who may not always have the opportunity to participate in organized sports. There is no cost, no experience required, and everyone is welcome.

Come hang out, meet some new friends, learn a little baseball/softball and enjoy an afternoon at the ball field!

📍 Sweet Owen’s Field
1325 Moseley Avenue, Palatka
📅 Sunday, November 1st, 2026
⏰ 2:00 PM
💰 FREE — OPEN TO ALL AGES
⁉️Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

🗣️PLEASE SHARE/TAG FRIENDS! We want to get this flyer in front of as many families and kids in Palatka as possible. Our hope is to introduce more kids to baseball and softball and help grow the game right here in our community. ⚾️🥎❤️
