💛 As tryout season comes to an end - this seemed to be a good reminder about where it all started! 💙

If You Give a Girl a Softball...

If you give a girl a softball, she'll want a bat to go with it. 🥎

Then she'll need a glove, cleats, a bag, and maybe even a bow.🎀

She'll ask you to play catch in the backyard every chance she gets, until the backyard isn't big enough anymore. Then she'll want to go to the field.

She'll come home covered in dirt, begging to learn how to slide, hit farther, catch better, and play with a team.

Once she has a team, your weekends will never be the same. They'll be filled with early mornings, folding chairs, tournaments, dirty uniforms, and endless memories.

She'll grow stronger, more confident, and discover friendships that last a lifetime. She'll learn she can be a pitcher, catcher, infielder, outfielder or anything she wants to be. 💪🏻

One day she'll hit her first home run, make an incredible play, and make you prouder than you ever imagined. 👏

Years later, she'll find an old softball tucked inside a dusty bat bag and remember that it all started because you gave a girl a softball. 🥎

And you'll realize you didn't just give her a ball...you gave her confidence, courage, dreams, a family, unforgettable memories, and a childhood she'll cherish forever. ❤️
