2026-2027 HOMESCHOOL SEASON INFORMATION (COSTS, PRACTICE INFO, ETC.)
Many of you have already registered and our AD and Coaches thank you as it helps them tremendously to have an early count for planning purposes (practice schedules, team rosters, etc.) If you haven't yet registered but plan to, Registration is open until August 28th! HOMESCHOOL BASKETBALL SEASON IS HERE!
Registration to play for the Holy Cross Gaels ends August 28th! See Registration form on our Band page. Must be homeschooled to participate. Teams available for: 12U Girls, 16U Girls, 8U Boys, 10U Boys, 12U Boys, 14U Boys
The Homeschool Basketball Season runs from our first practice on September 29th to the State Tournament in February (held in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Official dates not yet confirmed but expected to be February 19-20). Teams will also have the opportunity to go to the Regional Tournament in February (held in the Indianapolis, IN-area on February 24-26) if they choose to go.
🗺️*Practices will be Tuesdays at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center Gym (Lapeer) and Thursdays at St. Matthew’s (Flint). Home games will be at St. Matthew’s. Most teams will average two activities per week (practices and/or games), but some weeks could have 3 games. Travel is involved. There is also the opportunity for tournaments.
⛹🏻♂️⛹🏻♀️*Practices begin Tuesday, September 29th at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center Gym. The schedule is not final yet, but as of right now it is:
8U Boys and 12U Girls: 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
16U Girls: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
10U Boys: 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
12U-14u Boys: 8:00 – 9:30 p.m.
Registration Cost:
🏀$100 for 8U
🏀$200 for 10U, 12U & 14U
🏀$350 for 16U
($500 family cap for registrations)
Uniform Cost:
🏀10U and Up: $106 Uniform Package, includes a reversible jersey top, reversible shorts, and a shooting shirt
🏀8U: $48 reversible jersey top (you provide your own black shorts)
(Uniforms cannot be capped and each must be paid in full)
💵*$100 registration deposit plus uniform fee due at first practice (needed to prepay for tournaments and order uniforms ASAP). Registration balance must be paid in full by first game. If you need a payment plan, please let us know. Waivers for this program will also need to be signed and will be provided at the first practice.
🍫🍿Admissions and Concessions help offset the cost of the referees, etc. We will determine a Home Game Admission (and Family Pass) cost once we determine the amount of games we will be hosting. Be aware almost all other programs charge Admissions when they host us as well.
