Yesterday was a quick shift from the normal weekly plan for our 4th week in the Sticks Junior Golf clinic due to air quality concerns. Thank you to our participants and families for your understanding and willingness to adjust in a short amount of time. Thank you to the volunteers for being available so that the session could still run smoothly.

We continued with different challenges at each station for the Academy participants. We have 2 sessions left! We plan on having more games for the younger age group and set up the range as a simulated golf hole for the older kids.

Looking forward to finishing up the clinic with continued fun and learning!

To those who are participants in the Sticks Junior Golf Academy, please read the changes for tomorrow's (July 16) session

As many of you are aware, the air quality tomorrow is not ideal. We are going to proceed with the Sticks Junior Golf Academy but with a few small changes in order to reduce the strain on our participants.

Junior Golf Academy:

We will take breaks as much as possible and eliminate any excessive hitting. If anyone is not doing well, they can take a break in Gimmie's Grille. Each session will be shortened to 60 minutes and will start at the usual time.

Junior Golf League:

We are going to shorten the number of holes played this week. The 9-hole groups will be reduced to 6 holes. We are playing Peaks so after they leave the 3rd green they will be transported to the 7th tee box. They will play in from there. The 5-hole group will start on the 7th hole and play in from there. They will be shortened to 3 holes this week. Please be aware of the shorter time it will take them to finish. You may need to come earlier to pick them up.

If your child has any condition that makes it unsafe for them to be out when the air quality is poor, please keep them home. We will see them next week and fully understand. Each family has to make the best decision for their participant. I hope you all understand.

Week 2 of the Sticks Junior Camp starts tomorrow! The lucky participants will receive a water bottle and golf glove. Looking forward to seeing everyone for another great day to learn golf 😎

1 week down, 5 to go! We had a great turnout for the first day with our Academy and League participants, even with some strong winds at times!

Thank you Dan Garr at HealthQuest of Oxford for generously providing the swag bags for the participants to kick off the camp!

Thank you to all the volunteers that helped out yesterday, we wouldn't be able to run things without your help. We always could use an extra hand! If you are interested in volunteering, even if it's just for one week, please reach out!

We've got a busy 2 days ahead of us!

Tomorrow morning starts the Sticks Junior camp at Boulder Pointe Golf Club! We are very excited to get this program started and thrilled to have just under 150 juniors signed up to learn the game of golf 🏌️‍♀️

Friday 6/19 at 6pm-730pm I'll be holding a drop in clinic at Boulder Pointe Golf Club and Banquet Center and working with irons. Sign up using my calendly site! $20 per participant
