Kate began her racing career in go-karts, at Richmond Karting Speedway in Richmond, Maine at just 8 years old. She established herself as a competitor from the beginning, capturing five wins in her first season. Over the next four years, Kate would go on to capture dozens of wins and several Karting Championships. In 2017, while continuing a successful karting career, Kate also moved into the Four
-Cylinder Pro Stock Division at Wiscasset Speedway, in Wiscasset, Maine. Kate captured twelve Top 10 finishes, two Top Five finishes and finished Sixth in overall Season standings. In 2018, Kate began her career in full-sized cars, competing with the Pro All Star Series Modified Tour. During her rookie season, Kate captured two podium finishes including one win, and was named the PASS Modified “Rookie of the Year’, ending 5th in Season Standings. 2019 with the PASS Modifieds brought Kate two wins and three more podium finishes. She finished 4th in Season Standings and received the divisions “Sportsmanship Award”, something which Kate takes very seriously. In 2020, Kate made yet another jump in her racing career, to the prestigious Super Late Model Division, traveling throughout New England, competing with the well-known Pro All Star Series. In 2020, at just 16 years old, Kate became the first female to qualify her way into the storied Oxford 250, without a provisional. Kate finished the 2020 Season 8th in the Season standings. 2021 was a promising Season, Kate had several top 10 finishes to include becoming the highest finishing female in Pro All Star Series history, with a third-place finish at Lee USA Speedway in NH. In 2022, Kate was selected as one of seven drivers from across the Country and Canada to participate in the “Kulwicki Driver Development Program”, representing the late Alan Kulwicki. During the 2022 Season, Kate competed in her first Motor Mountain Master’s race at Jennerstown Speedway in Pennsylvania, and had top 10 finishes at both Stafford Motor Speedway in CT, and Hudson Speedway in NH. 2023 brings Kate and her team back home to Oxford Plains Speedway, in Oxford Maine, where she will compete in the weekly Oxford Championship Series and run select races with the Pro All Star Series, to include the 50th Annual Oxford 250 in August. Off track, Kate graduated High School in 2022 with honors and is pursuing a career in Real Estate, with some interest in Graphic Design. Kate is hard working, personable, and a true ambassador for the sport, making her one of Maine’s most promising young racers!
