Please complete the informational form. Important Information -Referees will be required to attend a 1-hour training session before refereeing. You will recieve $20 for attending that will be added to your first paycheck. -U8 $20/Game -U10-U14 Center Ref $35/Game -U10-U14 Sideline Ref $20/Game

Soccer Cleats Information

-Soccer Cleats or tennis shoes are required for U4 and U6. No crocs, sandals, or open toed shoes will be allowed. This is a safety concern and will be the coaches’ responsibility to monitor.

-Soccer Cleats U8 and above are not required but STRONGLY encouraged. Tennis shoes are acceptable but will put your child at a disadvantage on the field and will hinder them from learning the proper soccer mechanics. Soccer cleats focus on protecting the player’s foot and allowing free movement.

-Baseball and Football Cleats will not be acceptable for soccer. If soccer cleats are not available to the athlete, cutting the front spike off of football or baseball cleats will be allowed.

How can you tell the difference?
Soccer Cleats:
- do NOT have a spike at the toe
- made of a soft synthetic materiel
- soles have round plastic or rubber spikes
- lighter weight than baseball or football cleats
- low cut with less ankle support

OWEN COUNTY, I AM ONCE AGAIN ASKING FOR ONE U8 COACH.

Just ONE. That’s it. One brave adult willing to spend a little time making a big difference for a group of kids.

Coaching is rewarding. You’ll make memories. You’ll help kids grow. You may even discover a love for coaching you never knew you had.

But most importantly…

I WILL FINALLY LEAVE Y’ALL ALONE. 🙌

No more Facebook posts.
No more begging.
No more me seeing you at the fair and thinking, “They look responsible… I wonder if they’d coach.”
No more avoiding eye contact with me at ballgames because you’re afraid I’m about to ask you for a favor.

One person can end this for the entire county. 😂
