The Owasso Drillers ran their record this season to 15-7-1 with a 4-1 weekend at the Goodies for Mom tournament in Jenks.The Drillers capped the tournament with a second-place showing to pick up another ring on the year. While the Drillers’ offense struggled to get going in the finals, the bats were rolling for the Drillers leading up to that.In wins over the Bulldoggers, Cobras, Titans and Storm, both Craeton Poteete and Eli Bristol had four hits apiece. Bracen Hanson also added three hits on offense.Kooper Johnson led the Drillers with six runs batted in during the four victories in the tournament. Bristol drove in five runs, and Hanson had four RBIs. Keegan Cross and Jackson Darrough both had two runs batted in.It was Grady Enneking and Johnson who led the team with five runs scored apiece. Waylon Russell, Noah Rowan, Cross and Anderson Hollis each scored four runs apiece.On the basepaths, Bristol led the Drillers with eight stolen bases. Both Russell and Rowan had seven swipes on the bases.The pitcher’s mound featured Enneking, Hollis and Darrough each throwing four innings apiece. The trio also combined for 15 strikeouts. Bristol added six strikeouts of his own in three innings of work on the mound. Overall, great Mothers Day weekend for the Driller family!
