Mark had all the right tools to fish for trout but needed to learn how to use them properly. We started out teaching how to locate structure and identify fish using sonar. We had bait all over us and fish chasing, then we shifted location and Mark was able to hook his very first Lake trout! That's what Finger Lakes Fishing School is all about.

Bass fishing was excellent today and I also caught this unusual and rare fish. At first I knew it wasn't a Pike so I thought it was a big Pickerel. But after doing some research it is Indeed a Hybrid Pike/Pickerel.
