One of the first things we lose as we age isn’t strength—it’s power.

Power is what helps you catch yourself if you trip, step up onto a curb without thinking twice, carry groceries with ease, or quickly react when life throws you off balance.

That’s why we include plyometrics in our training. When done appropriately, they help maintain the ability to move quickly, confidently, and independently for years to come.

Getting older is inevitable. Losing your ability to move well doesn’t have to be.

Help us welcome our newest trainer to Prime Training KC 👏

With a background in strength & conditioning, Olympic weightlifting, and long-term athletic development, he brings a coaching style focused on building strength, improving mobility, and helping people move with confidence.

From Chris- “I focus on helping clients build sustainable strength, improve mobility, and move with confidence. My coaching blends structured strength training with mobility and long-term development, helping individuals of all backgrounds train effectively while staying healthy.

I hold a USA Weightlifting Level 2 certification, am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT), and earned my degree in Applied Exercise Science from the University of Kansas.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with athletes and clients in private strength and conditioning facilities, youth sports organizations, and individualized personal training settings. I previously served as Director of Sports Performance for GABL Future prior to its merger with MoKan Basketball, and currently coach Olympic weightlifting with Team Aita, helping earn the 2025 Kansas Best Men’s Team award.

Whether working with athletes or general fitness clients, my goal is always the same: create structured, results-driven programs that prioritize strength, mobility, confidence, and long-term progress.

Strength is for everybody — and strength is for life.“

We are excited to have him apart of our Prime Family!

It’s golf season… how are you training for it? ⛳️

More swings won’t fix limited hip mobility or lack of rotational power.

We’re building strength, speed, and control through the hips and core so power actually transfers when it matters.

Train for the sport — before you hit the course.

DM us if you want your training to carry over onto the course.

“Nothing changes if nothing changes.”

At Prime, we don’t chase perfect—we chase consistency.
The small shifts, the repeated effort, the decision to show up… that’s what actually creates change.

Thanks .lill15 for the weekly 💪🏼

Did you know our guy Kevin teaches kickboxing too??

Just when you thought he only coached strength… he’s out here mixing it up with power, speed, and a whole lot of sweat.

Who’s ready to try a session with him??

Bracket season brought the competition… and Ryan showed up!

Our NCAA March Madness winner didn’t just take home the cash—because at Prime Training, we celebrate people for who they are, not just what they win.

Ryan walked away with:
💰 Cash
💧 Hydro water bottle
🛍️ Lululemon gift card
💪 Protein powder
🥤 A portable ninja blender (because chiropractic school life = fueled right)

Wins like this are fun—but building a community where people feel seen, supported, and celebrated… that’s the real prize.

Congrats, Ryan 👏
