A great night for the Lady Dawgs! 💜💛💙 The girls competed at home tonight and came away with a 1st place finish! 🏆👏 Way to go, ladies!

Tonight was also a special Purple Week celebration as we honored those who have fought, continue to fight, and have been affected by cancer. 💜 The girls played alongside purple flags honoring those special fighters and survivors who inspire us every day.

A special shoutout to our three seniors, Annika, Madden, and Malania on senior night! 🎓 Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and leadership throughout your time as Lady Dawgs. We are so proud of you! 💙💛

💜⛳ ONLY 3 PURPLE EVENT FLAGS LEFT TO SPONSOR! ⛳💜

Every two years, Otsego Public Schools comes together for Purple Week—a week-long, community-wide fundraiser supporting the Van Andel Institute and its research into cancer and neurodegenerative diseases that have affected so many of our families, friends, and loved ones.

As part of Purple Week, the Otsego Girls Golf Team will host our Purple Event tomorrow at Shamrock Hills, and we still have 3 flags available to sponsor!

💜 Each flag will be displayed on a hole during the event in honor or memory of someone special. After the event, you can keep the flag or give it to the person or family you are honoring as a special keepsake.

We only have 3 flags remaining, and all sponsorships must be submitted by 8:00 PM tonight so we can have the flags ready for tomorrow's event.

The Lady Dawgs kicked off their season last night with a golf jamboree in Paw Paw, taking home a 2nd-place finish! ⛳️👏

⛳ Great Start to the Season for Otsego Girls Golf! ☘️

Today, the Otsego High School Girls Golf Team opened its season by hosting the Shamrock Invitational at Shamrock Hills Golf Course, featuring 17 teams and 96 golfers!

Our girls got the season off to an impressive start, shooting a 359 — tied for the 3rd-best 18-hole team score in school history — and finishing 3rd overall!

Congratulations to Harper Creek on taking 1st place and Plainwell on finishing 2nd!

Individually, Annika Quakenbush was the tournament medalist, firing an incredible 72 (+1) and setting a new Otsego school record by 2 strokes! 🏆🔥

Malania Miller had a strong round, finishing just outside the Top 10 in 11th place, while Alissa Holmes finished 18th, Madden Fitzpatrick also had a good start to the season.

We also had three girls get their first taste of high school golf competition today — Hallie Prough, Ezra Smith, and Abigail Hansen. All three did a great job in their high school debuts, and we’re excited to see them continue to grow throughout the season!

A 359, a 3rd-place team finish, a tournament medalist, and a new school record — that’s a pretty great way to start the season!
