I am deeply saddened by the news of John's passing, brother of our member Kevin Snyder and Uncle to Chris Snyder. Through my work in the fire service, I had the privilege of knowing John, and his son Kyle who is a respected member of my fire department. John's selflessness, kindness, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Our prayers and condolences go out to Kevin, Paula, Chris, and the entire family. May John's memory be a blessing to all who knew him, and may he rest in eternal peace. -Jamie

Our Christmas party was a fantastic celebration, marked by a productive board meeting and elections. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Swain family for their generosity in hosting our Christmas party again.

We've implemented some important changes, including a pending schedule , which will be revealed soon.

Our membership structure has been modified from membership dues to now being called membership donations which are mandatory, and the price increased from $25 to $40 per year. This decision was made collectively and will allow us to respond to economic shifts.

We're happy to confirm that club meals will remain a staple, however we will plan on eating right after the feature.

We're exploring possibilities for a play day or test and tune day.

We'll also be introducing stickers for purchase, patches, and a perfect attendance award.

We have finished dinner and our board meeting has adjourned. I will be posting election results shortly as we conclude our party with some giveaways.

President Pat York has commenced our 25th Anniversary annual Christmas party with a prayer from Mary Peters, after which we will partake in the abundant and delectable food. A board meeting and this year's elections process will follow. Further details will be forthcoming.

Michiana Vintage Racers teams and membrs
Just a quick note to remind everyone of our banquet on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Jim Swain's shop. The address is 1198 Rustic Hills Dr., Union City, MI 49094. The banquet will start at 12:00 with the annual meeting immediately following.
As usual, the club will provide the meat (pulled pork and chicken).
Please bring a dish to pass. Pat will reach out to the membership for roll call of attendees.
Some topics for discussion will include a membership increase, secretary/treasurer duties being separated into 2 actual positions, event statistician, ideas for provided meal and over all season review.
If you have any ideas or suggestions, please bring them with you!

MVR member Glenn Aman says:

“Well I accomplished a dream today. My car will be on display in the entrance at Lane Automotive for the winter. I want to thank Lane Automotive and My son Ryan Aman and everyone that helped me put this together to be able to accomplish this.”

Well done guys, the car really looks great as always. What an accomplishment!
