ATHLETES & VOLUNTEERS OF ALL AGES WANTED!

Whether you are a team athlete ready to represent us in uniform or a supporter looking for your last chance to get volunteer hours, we need you!

Let’s bring the whole team together for the Osceola Parade on Sunday, September 13.

Team Athletes: Wear your jersey, wave to the crowd, and show off your shooting team pride on the float, and heck lets through out some candy too!

Volunteers (All Ages): Kids, teens, and adults are all welcome to walk alongside us, hand out candy and bring the energy.

Event: Osceola Parade Float

Location: Osceola Parade Route, Staging details will be sent upon signup
Time: Will be disclosed as soon as lineup is published

HELP WANTED: CONCESSIONS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Join the Osceola Lions Club at the spectacular Wheels & Wings Aircraft Show!
We need enthusiastic volunteers to help fuel the crowd and keep the event flying high. What an awsome way to both give back to a great organization that dontates so much to the team and cash in on those volunteer hours. This is one of the last two ways to volunteer this 2026 season.

Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026
Location: Osceola, WI (L.O. Simenstad Municipal Airport)
Available Shifts: Pick a time slot that works best for your schedule:
Shift 1: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Shift 2: 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Food Service Duties=
Food Prep: Preparing hot dogs and burgers.
Grill Logistics: Retrieving fresh food from the grill and roasters.
Customer Service: Serving hungry guests with a smile.
Sales Counter: Running the checkout and handling transactions.

Sunday: 2026 SASP/SCTP Nationals is a wrap POST 1 OF 2! The families that traveled to Ohio are either home now or traveling home. I thought I would leave you with TWO posts/batches of pictures of the support crew and some of the extra fun at Nationals. We couldn’t do all of this without our coaches, volunteers, families, friends, teammates, and people back home. Thank you! Saturday: SASP/SCTP Nationals has come to a close and Osceola Youth Shooting Team went out with a bang! 💥 And more medals! 🏅

Today we finished shooting trap singles.

Tonight we went back to the final SASP (action shooting) awards ceremony. Josh finished off his SASP career with a 3rd place individual finish in collegiate men’s ultimate pistol. He then went on to win 3rd place individual in collegiate men’s 1911! You’ve done us proud, Josh!

What a joy these past few weeks have been!

Friday: Another great day here in Ohio and another post which includes a report out of medals! 🏅

Today the athletes participated in trap singles - this is four trap rounds today and then they shoot another four rounds tomorrow, for a total of 200 targets. Shooter arrived at Nationals today and shot his first (ever!) 25.

Tonight we were rushed because we had to be at two different award ceremonies. 😀

Josh took 1st place Individual for Collegiate Trap Handicap. Congratulations!

Tanner took 3rd place Individual for Intermediate Advanced Trap Doubles. Congratulations!

We took the 1st place Team Award for Intermediate Advanced Trap Doubles, which included Bennet, Dylan, Henry, Jack, and Tanner. Congratulations!

Our open squad (which was Carter, Jack, Kelly, and Macey) for Pistol Caliber Carbine won squad award for 2nd place! Congratulations!

These are long, hot days but we couldn’t be more proud of all of our athletes and of our team. Each and every one.

Thursday: It’s still very, very hot (and now hazy) in Ohio but the athletes are holding up well. Today was more trap doubles, trap handicap, and s***t. Tonight we recognized members of our team who made it on the 2026 SSSF All Scholastic Team: Jack, Tanner, Macey, Carter, and Levi. Academic achievement with shooting excellence = deserved recognition.

Wednesday: What a day here for our team at SCTP/SASP Nationals!!! This is a longer post but well worth the read!

Our athletes competed in a variety of events - s***t, trap doubles, and trap handicap.

We received the results from SCTP International Trap and Josh took 3rd place for Men’s Collegiate! We are so proud!

To end the day, athletes that chose to, participated in the Last Competitor Standing Competition. SUCH FUN! Between Ladies, Collegiate, and those under 18 years old, I believe there were 16 traps with about 30 athletes at each trap participating. Pretty incredible to see. Even more exciting is that Josh took 3rd place for Collegiate and our very own Macey is the SCTP National Championships 2026 Last Lady Standing Champion. AND THEN she competed against the last male competitor standing and defeated him and is the National Last Competitor Standing CHAMPION!

We are all melting from the heat, but full of pride!
