💚💚As promised—and definitely not least—here are the career statistics for those who enjoyed yesterday’s single-season records from 1980–Present! 🥎

Without boring you with one huge, lengthy post, we’ll be sharing pictures of the current CAREER RECORD HOLDERS, along with the INDIVIDUAL AND CAREER PITCHING STATS! 😊

For all you statistics people and Osage Softball historians, here are some highlights from the record books! 📚🥎
Individual Season Records (1980–Present)

🔥 RBIs: Olivia Chapman takes the top spot with 52 RBIs this season! That ties her with her sister, Coach Aubrey Chapman, who also had 52 RBIs in 2023. Leah Grimm is 3rd with 44 RBIs in 2022.

🏃‍♀️ Runs Scored: Erica Gast takes over the top spot with 47 runs scored this season. Emma Evens (2024) and Taylor Klobassa (2023) are tied for 2nd with 46.

💥 Doubles: The record still belongs to Leah Grimm (2022) with 15 doubles. Olivia Chapman (2025), Sydney Muller (2023), Ashley Halbach (2022), and Jessica Rogers (2012) are tied for 2nd with 14.

⚡ Triples: This is a LONG-standing record! Kris Kuper set the mark back in 1984 with 7 triples, and that record still stands today. Emmery Dodd (2025) and Katelyn Halbach (2019) are tied for 2nd with 5.

🚀 Home Runs: Olivia Chapman absolutely shattered the single-season record this year with 12 home runs! Aubrey Chapman (2023) is 2nd with 9, and Leah Grimm (2023) is 3rd with 7.

🏃‍♀️💨 Stolen Bases: Erica Gast stole 41 bases this season to claim the all-time single-season record! She previously held 2nd place with 38 in 2024, while Katelyn Halbach (2019) is 3rd with 36.

👀 Base on Balls: Leah Grimm (2023) holds the single-season record with 27 walks, followed by Erica Gast (2023) with 24.

🧤 Put Outs: We have to go all the way back to 1988 for this one! Kathy Urbatsch holds the single-season record with 326 put outs. WOW!

💯 Fielding Percentage: Ainsley Hemann joins a lengthy list of players who finished a season with a 1.000 fielding percentage. This season, she had 57 chances at 2nd base and didn't make a single error! She joins Erica Gast (2025), Emmery Dodd (2025), Emma Evens (2025), Sydney Muller (2023), Leanne Wagner (1985), Cassidy Mohl (2012 & 2013), and Ashley Halbach (2020).

🎯 Assists: Rita Doane still holds the single-season record with 125 assists, set way back in 1985!

💥 Hit by Pitch: Sammi Scharper was hit by 17 pitches in 2019, and that record still stands. Impressive! 😳

📈 On-Base Percentage: Leah Grimm (2023) sits at the top with an incredible .632 OBP, followed by Katelynn Halbach (2020) at .568.

💪 Slugging Percentage: Olivia Chapman posted a HUGE .975 slugging percentage this season, making her the new single-season record holder! Leah Grimm (2020) is 2nd at .956, followed by Aubrey Chapman (2023) at .877.

Last night, we were able to get together one last time for the 2026 softball season to celebrate and honor an incredible group of young ladies and another very successful summer of Osage Softball at our end-of-season banquet! 🥎💚
A special THANK YOU to Nikole Gast and her staff at the Cedar Valley Seminary for being such gracious hosts and providing an excellent meal for everyone! We truly appreciate your hospitality and generosity!

This summer, this team accomplished some pretty special things:

🔥 FIFTH CONSECUTIVE 20+ WIN SEASON!
This feat has only been accomplished twice before in Osage Softball history — 1992 and 1993!

🏆 BACK-TO-BACK Top of Iowa Conference Champions!
And this team did it UNDEFEATED in conference play in one of the toughest leagues in the state!

📊 4th all-time in a season for total runs scored — 257
💣 2nd all-time in a season for home runs — 22
💨 4th all-time in a season for stolen bases — 128

To say we are proud of this group would be an understatement!

🏆 TEAM AWARD RECIPIENTS
These awards were voted on by their teammates and coaches:
Best Teammate Award: Macey Reckmann
Most Improved Award: Brynnlie Havig & Ainsley Hemann
JV MVP Award: Maddy Cooper
Varsity MVP Award: Erica Gast

The E. Wayne Colley “YOU CAN” Award, presented by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association to a player who exemplifies determination, character, and the values of Pursuing Victory With Honor, was presented to Kiersten McRoberts. This is a very special honor, and Kiersten is extremely deserving!

We also had another special award this year — the Fan of the Year Award — presented to Nicholas Johnson! Nicholas was presented with a ball signed by the team along with a couple of Osage Softball T-shirts. Judging by how excited he was, we're just hoping he was able to get any sleep last night! 😂💚

A HUGE thank you to all of our parents for making this another successful softball season and one that will be remembered for a long time! This program is incredibly blessed to have such amazing community support — support that has grown over the last few years into something truly special.

Our trip to Dubuque Wahlert for the Regional Final was just a small testament to that support. The SEA OF GREEN was well represented, and this program cannot thank you enough for showing up, cheering loud, and believing in these girls! 💚💚💚

To our four seniors: You have left an incredible legacy in this program and truly led by example for the past five years. Your impact on Osage Softball will not be forgotten. We are so proud of each of you and look forward to watching you continue to do BIG things in the years ahead! ❤️

And with that being said… the needle is definitely trending in the right direction! 📈

These young ladies are hungry, they are motivated, and they are ready for more. When asked last night how many of them are currently playing on a fall/spring club team, 90% of the girls were standing! That tells you everything you need to know about the excitement surrounding this program and the work these girls are willing to put in.

The future of Osage Softball is definitely BRIGHT! 💚🥎

One last celebration for an incredible 2026 season — but certainly not the end of what this group is capable of!
