The 2025 Fall Season has concluded for Osage City -- the enthusiasm and effort from the players was wonderful! Plus, the support from the parents, fans, and community towards the team. I am extremely proud of this group of players and everything they accomplished this Fall!!

The plan is to continue in the Spring 2026 -- practicing and attempting to set up games for the team. If any USD 420 players who did not play this Fall want to get involved, contact me.

Sunday - August 3, 4-5:30pm - Area South of the Powell House (South 2nd St, where the MS/HS FB teams practice)

I want to get the HS Girls Flag Football players together -- throw the ball, run routes, go through playing basics -- Feel free to spread the word to others, they would be welcome!

Each player will receive these items courtesy of the KC Chiefs -- Flag Set (belt and "pop" flags) plus our team game jersey and game short set (images attached)

The team will receive footballs and cones from the Chiefs

Players would need to provide their own - cleated shoes (turf type molded bottom preferred), these could be football cleats or softball/baseball type cleats (no steel bottom) and a mouthguard

Optional Player Items could be - football specific gloves, sunglasses, under shirt with padding, wrist band(s), head band, padded head gear - questions about an item ask the coach.

Welcome to the Osage City Girls HS Flag Football page!!

This page will post information, pictures, etc about the inaugural Fall 2025 season for the Indians.

Please share with those you know that may be interested in the team - as a fan or player.

I, Corey Linton, will be the team's Head Coach. I am trying to narrow down players who want to be/play on the 2025 team -- Players need to be a USD 420 9th-12th grader in the 2025-2026 school year (players outside of the school district are not able to be on the team) -- Player or Player Parents need to contact me directly so I can add them to the team roster - 785-806-8911 or [email protected], so I can begin planning on a meeting, practices, etc.

This team is an OCHS Club Team, meaning we have flexibility with practice - my goal is to run practice in the evenings (possibly weekend), so players can participate in other OCHS Fall sports/activities.

Nothing has been decided about games dates yet -- The season will likely run the week of September 1 through the week of October 20.

Area schools who also have a participating HS Girls Flag FB team are: West Franklin, Osawatomie, Wamego, Baldwin, Wellsville, plus larger schools in the KC Metro area.
