๐๐โจ kindness wins
โI never regret being kind, but I have regretted every moment I wasnโt.โ
As Iโve gotten older, Iโve realized something.
Iโve never laid awake at night regretting the times I was too kind.
Iโve never regretted helping someone when they needed it.
Iโve never regretted giving a compliment.
Iโve never regretted making someone smile.
Iโve never regretted showing love to the people I care about.
But I have regretted the moments when I let my anger speak louder than my heart.
The moments when my ego got in the way.
The moments when I could have been more patient.
The moments when I chose pride over understanding.
The moments when I knew someone was struggling, but I was too busy to reach out.
Because at the end of the day, kindness is never wasted.
Maybe the person you smiled at was having the worst day of their life.
Maybe that encouraging message arrived exactly when they needed it.
Maybe the compassion you showed someone became the reason they kept going.
Youโll never fully know the impact you have on other people.
Life is already hard enough for everyone.
Everyone is carrying something you canโt see.
A battle they donโt talk about.
A worry they hide behind a smile.
A pain they carry in silence.
Thatโs why kindness matters.
Not because people always deserve it.
Not because youโll always get it back.
But because it reflects who you are.
Years from now, people wonโt remember how much money you made, what car you drove, or how many followers you had.
Theyโll remember how you made them feel.
And when your life is over, the moments youโll be most proud of wonโt be the moments when you won an argument, proved someone wrong, or got the last word.
Theyโll be the moments when you chose love over hate.
Patience over anger.
Compassion over judgment.
The world needs more kind people.
Be one of them.
Because Iโve never regretted being kind.
But Iโve regretted every moment I wasnโtโค๏ธ
