An early morning, 9 hours of shooting, and what seemed like a forever drive home ... finally had a moment to reflect. All we can say is INCREDIBLE. Our young Grand Valley Trap Club Team represented NE Ohio well against the largest and best teams in the State. Alot of personal best shooting for all, and a 483 team score (99-97-97-97-93) landed us in 5th. Although we missed the podium in several categories - we were in it right until the end.

Twas the night before the State Tournament, 21 Grand Valley Trap Club Team Members are all snug in their beds ... we are wishing ALL our Team the best - competing against some of Ohio's best Youth Trap shooters.

Sunday Funday! We finished up the regular season with a day of fun, games, and awards. We can't say enough about these kids on their accomplishments. Most members of the team improved their average over these past five weeks. It has been a season of growth, focus, and dedication, and it showed in our performance. With only graduating 3 this year, the future is bright for this team!

Season Highlights:

• The team finished 5th in a VERY tough conference!

• A huge congratulations to our 8 patch earners who hit 25/50 straights, with several athletes earning multiple patches! Sean, Chase, Blake, Dustin, Nathaniel, Mason, Tyler, and Carter.

• A special shout-out to Chase (T-14th) and Dustin (T-24th) for earning All-State Honors.

Congratulations to all our shooters on a successful regular season. Your hard work is paying off!

We now set our sights on Ohio State High School Clay Target League State Tournament for all members and USA High School Clay Target League National Championship for Dustin, Blake, Carter, Chase, Mason, Tyler, and Nathaniel.

• State Tournament: June 7th
• National Tournament: July 8th–12th

What a week for the team! Our overall scoring average is officially on the move upward, and we saw three more shooters break into that elite 45+ club this week. The hard work on the line is clearly paying off.

Week 1 is in the books! 🎯

​The team came out swinging for the first week of competition. We saw a lot of personal bests, several scores climbing well above averages, and our newestmembers are already finding their groove
