Big Stone Lake still contains some ice, but there is plenty of open water on the north end of the lake to get the boats out and join us this weekend for border opener and kick off your fishing season! Weather for this weekend is going to be beautiful as it will be in the mid 60's for this weekend and should be a great opener! Don't forget to stop in at Artie's Bait & Tackle Ortonville and get your bait and join us at our open house and get some awesome deals and sign up for great door prizes! Big stone lake has made great progress with the warm weather and wind in the past couple days and is ice free on the northern 10-15 miles and will be open for border opener on April 19 weekend. We are looking forward to a great opener following an amazing year last year! Kick off your spring with trip to big stone lake!
