A big congratulations to senior Owen Lacy for finishing 5th in the 2025 State XC Championship meet! Owen ran a lifetime PR with a time of 15:30 (previous time was 15:46). His finish earned him First Team All-Ohio Honors! What a finish to your season Owen!!

What a great end to a fantastic XC season! Both the boys and girls teams finished the season today at the regional meet in Boardman.

Congratulations to Owen Lacy who is the D3 Regional Champ!! He also ran a lifetime PR of 15:46!! Owen will head to Columbus next Saturday for the OHSAA State Championship Meet!

Also earning a lifetime PR was junior Jacob Crawford with a time of 19:04!

Congratulations to BOTH XC teams in qualifying for regionals! This is the first girls team to qualify since 2010 and the first boys team to qualify since 2009! Next Saturday both teams head to Boardman for the regional meet.

The Orrville varsity cross country team traveled to Nick-A-Jack Farms for the PAC 7 championship today. The boys' team finished 3rd in the PAC, and the girls' team finished 4th.

Finishing in the top 10 were seniors Owen Lacy (2nd place) and Charlie Lorson (8th place). Congratulations to senior Owen Lacy (15:50) and juniors Logan Lovette (20:31) and Daniel Merino (21:25) for earning lifetime PRs!

On the girls team, senior Annie McAllister snagged a seasonal best with a time of 26:04. Freshman Kayleigh Lierer earned a lifetime PR with a time of 25:34.

The Riders will travel to Elyria next Saturday for the district meet.

The middle school cross country teams ran their final meet of the season at the PAC Championship today. The girls' team finished 2nd in the PAC, and the boys' team finished 5th.

Finishing in the top 7 and earning a medal were Meredith Stamp (2nd place) and Sydney Hochstetler (5th).

The Orrville Cross Country team hosted the Wayne Holmes Invite at Orrville High School today. It was a perfect morning for the runners, with many of them snagging lifetime PR’s!

The boys varsity team finished 3rd as a team after Jaxon Clark won the tie breaker against Triway! Seniors Owen Lacy (3rd) and Charlie Lorson (8th) took home some hardware with their top 10 finishes. The following boys earned lifetime PRs: Rhys Coleman (17:13), Jacob Crawford (19:05), Parker Hochstetler (19:07), Jaxon Clark (20:01), and Kenny Comito (20:09).

The girls varsity finished 8th as a team. The following girls earned lifetime PRs: Olivia Kozma (22:56), Abby Severe (25:22), and Madison Hilty (28:18).

The girls middle school team won the invite with Meredith Stamp (5th), Paisley Green (7th), and Sydney Hochstetler (9th) taking home medals with their top 10 finishes. The following girls earned a lifetime PR today: Meredith Stamp (13:08), Paisley Green (13:28), Sydney Hochstetler (13:37), Annika Kozma (13:55), Kenley Swerline (14:08), Elise Martin (15:18), and Piper Moorehead (15:57).

The boys middle school team finished 4th as a team with all six boys earning lifetime PRs! Congratulations Kenny Martinez Aguilera (12:36), Cohen Kinnebrew (12:49), Camden Handwerk (13:11), Casey O’Dell (13:14), Declan Fish (15:07), and Jaxon Curie (16:50).

In addition to a successful meet, we also recognized our four seniors (Owen Lacy, Charlie Lorson, Rhys Coleman, and Annie McAllister). We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
