My Open #13 in Mesa recap…
Started Friday morning playing Junior Pro doubles with Paul Delgado. We played great, going 1-2. The future of co****le is young, and REALLY good.
I didn’t plan on playing high school doubles, but when someone asks you to play, you dont say no. I paired with Jacob Verdugo and we may have gone 0-2 but we had fun.
Finished Friday in the Pro/Elite/Adv blind draw and I drew ACL Pro Donald Cupp. We went 5-2 finishing T9 out of 42 teams. I loved playing with Mr. Cupp and learned a lot from him.
Saturday was Open Doubles. This was another event I didn’t plan on playing in, but luckily Mr. Joseph Jessica Woods was also looking for a partner late in the week and we paired up. We went 2-2 in rounders to make Tier 2. In the bracket we lost our first game, but then went on a tear, winning our next 9 games before losing again, and wound up finishing 3rd out of 60 teams! Thanks Mr. Woods for pairing up!
Sunday was the finale and I played Tier 1 singles. I went 0-2, and not much else to say about that.
I had a lot of fun catching up with friends, meeting new people, and playing a ton of co****le. Next up is Open #15 in Texas.
