Building Emotional & Mental Success!
Emotions are things we manage, our Mind is something we can learn to control!
There is a BIG difference between emotional training and mental strength training. Both start with understanding the biology and process behind how they work and become established. Both require movement to shift and change. The difference comes in CONTROL!
We can learn to control our mind and train it to produce a consistency in thought that is desired, stable, and reliable under most situations. To gain this mastery, we exert a process of conscious tools to create habits. As those habits become ingrained, the process of controlling and maintaining those habits comes into play. The movement we need to create this change is our own conscious thought and nothing else.
With emotions, it is much different. We can use a process of tools and strategies to support emotional stability and our desired change. However, the movement emotion requires to build something new is not in our hands alone. You see, emotions pull on a mental effort as well as an interactive and higher sensory experience between ourselves, our environment, and others. In order to gain mastery over our emotions, we need to override the undesired emotional narratives we have by creating new emotional connections within ourselves, with others, and our life situations. This means there is a limit to our control!
As a High-Performance Coach, I start by focusing on giving clients the tools and insight they need to gain mastery over their thoughts and mind. From here, my clients become better equipped to manage their emotions. This provides them the time they need to create the changes that are required to have the availability to create new emotional experiences.
