How do you know which method will be right for you? Meditation? Breath work? Somatic stuff? Esoteric initiation? Medicine?

There’s no one right way. try stuff out and learn to trust yourself.

Throwback to a piece of music I wrote in college setting this poem of Neruda’s to music. I don’t remember the piece, but I remember the scale that I used. I know much more now than I did then about the power of vibration to transmute lead—I’ve also had my fill of scholarly books by now. This also in the backwash of the Pisces lunar eclipse. (the thing I love most about astrology is how it gets us to observe the currents of consciousness. We are otherwise blind to.)

There is no loose thread in all of existence.

“The conch shell awaits the wind,
Asleep in the sea’s light
It wants a black colored voice
That may fill the distances
Like the piano of the powerful
Like God’s horn for the scholarly books:
It wants to blow away their silence until
The sea immobilizes, their bitter insistence of lead.”

✨ Alchemy of the Senses ✨

True meditation isn’t about escaping your body or fighting your mind—it’s about waking up inside of them.

Join us at Angel Heart 4 You for an immersive hour of guided awareness, sacred sound, and sensory awakening.

We’ll drop the inner controller, give ourselves our own permission to drop deep, and use the five senses as direct portals to deep inner stillness and luminous vitality.

Even if you think you cannot meditate, you may be surprised at what is possible.

Behind everything you think you are is a clear space from which to create anew. Not a hit or miss manifestation mind game. Something much deeper and less explicable.

The only requirement? Nakedness—to yourself. Awareness and compassion. It’s almost too easy, but as the I Ching says, “if these words are heard, they will not be believed.” Good thing we don’t even need to believe them.

A couple references require footnotes, so here you go:

1. Supposedly, if you listen to Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon along with the Wizard of Oz, they sync up––must-try experience while high.

2. Schrodinger’s Cat is a thought experiment from quantum physics, where there’s a cat in a box, but you don’t know whether or not it is alive or dead till you open the box; it is in a state of “superposition”, being both dead and alive at the same time. It’s meant to illustrate how quantum phenomena can exist in multiple states at once until they are measured.

Join me live in Benicia, California every Tuesday evening at 6 PM ($30), or join a free online session. Links bio.

I’m not here to teach a one size fits all approach to meditation, nor to make you dependent on me as the big important teacher. This is a different kind of space – a place to come together in resonance, and to strengthen your own ability to connect to the source within yourself. It’s simply easier to do in a group where others are doing the same.

“I always leave feeling far more relaxed, confident, and acknowledged as a human and spiritual being in this existence.”~S.D.

Empaths: it takes a lot to build up the courage and the strength to be unapologetically who you are. I get it. I have all the scars to show for it. But we need to start telling a better story, or at least expanding our view of how things can go down. Though it may not feel this way now, you stand to be the strongest people of all. And I don’t mean just inwardly. I mean, capable of expressing power in a clean way, with awareness and compassion.

We all need some help on the journey. If you’re navigating the waves of transformation and need a hand, DM me or check out www.theinnerfountain.com.

Ta**ra is about the union of Shiva, the masculine unmanifest side of God, and Shakti, the feminine power of creation. Consciousness and energy. Emptiness and power. Stillness and movement. While s*x can be a part of the practice, the practice more often involves mantra, visualization, meditation, ritual to embody the divine union within oneself.

* Big subject. There’s also Buddhist ta**ra, which is similar in principles, though it doesn’t use the names, Shiva and Shakti.

Enjoy the poem 🙏🏻
