When I signed with for 2024 & 2025 I had no idea what my reality was going to be. Switching from a pro team to a self managed program, I had no idea what I was in for.
I knew of and , and had heard good things so I thought hey maybe this could work out.
From spending more than 2 months on the road together to making me seriously question if I eat enough food, to teaching me a lot of things I had forgotten; I’m so thankful I took a leap and jumped into this. Unimaginable packing days and my camera roll being filled with dumb selfies, driving from Italy to Poland, and philosophical cries convos in the van. It reminded me that performance can exist without sacrificing happiness and fulfilment. We were all open to learning from each other (taking credit for telling you to eat gels in Finale ‘24). It was just such a cool energy to cultivate.
It’s made the last 2 years of chasing world cups a lot more meaningful for me. At first I thought about setting up my own thing just for me, but I knew that it wasn’t what I wanted. Full pressure, full commitment on me and my result wasn’t what I was aiming to live with. I wanted to share all the resources and connections my career brought me. In a sense I think I was already setting myself up for the transition that’s happening now.
What a blessing to have gotten to spend time with these two. I can’t wait to continue to see their careers evolve and how they will continue to grow!! Thank you for teaching me so much. Eternal gratitude!!
