Thereâs a woman behind EmpowerHER Fitness who wasnât always the woman you see today.
Elizabeth wasnât always focused on strength training. She wasnât always in shape. She didnât always make the best choices for her health or understand what her body would need as she moved into midlife.
She was busy building a career, running a business, being a wife and mom, and doing what so many professional women do â putting herself somewhere down the list.
Then she realized something:
Menopause was coming. And she wanted to be prepared for it.
Instead of waiting for her body to change and then trying to âfixâ it, Elizabeth decided to take charge.
She discovered strength training and physique transformation â and it completely changed the way she looked at fitness.
She learned how to build muscle. How to train with intention. How nutrition actually supports a strong, lean physique. And, just as importantly, she learned how powerful it feels to become stronger in midlife.
She worked with incredible coaches, immersed herself in the science, read the research, asked questions, experimented, learned from her own body â and fell completely in love with the process.
Then something unexpected happened.
Women started asking her:
âWhat are you doing?â
âHow are you building that much muscle?â
âHow are you staying so lean in your 50s?â
âCan you teach me?â
And thatâs where EmpowerHER Fitness began.
Elizabeth opened her studio because she knew she wasnât the only woman who wanted to feel strong, capable, confident and in control of her body as she moved through midlife.
She also knew she didnât want to create another gym where women were handed a workout and told to âjust do more cardio.â
She wanted something different.
A place where women could learn how to strength train properly, build muscle, understand nutrition, develop sustainable habits and stop fighting against their changing bodies.
Because Elizabeth isnât different from the women who walk through the doors of EmpowerHER.
Sheâs simply a woman who decided to stop waiting and start taking charge.
And now she gets to help other women do the same.
Thatâs EmpowerHER Fitness.
