We participated in the Tennessee Dizzy Dean State Tournament this weekend. We started strong yesterday by defeating the East Ridge All-Stars, but then took a loss to the Signal Mountain Eagles, landing us in the losers' bracket. We began our battle back by winning against the Jasper Solar Flares last night, but unfortunately, we experienced our second and final loss today when we faced East Ridge again. Although the outcome wasn’t what we expected, we are always proud of these girls! They showcased their skills and demonstrated how far they’ve come as a team, especially in the first game yesterday. We’ll be back next weekend for our final tournament together at the Dizzy Dean National Championship!

A special shoutout to our home run hitters from this tournament: Cambree, Maesyn, Norah Kate, Sophia, and Tinley! Keep it up, girls!

Our fourth Dizzy Dean point series tournament kicked off tonight! We faced the Fort O All-Stars in our first pool play game and won 20-3. Cambree and Taylor each hit home runs, and our MVP was Isla, who had 5 RBIs!

We have our second pool play game tomorrow morning at 9:00 against Clutch from Altamont.

The Valkyries participated in the second Tennessee Dizzy Dean point series last weekend and finished as the 8U gold bracket champions, securing our spot in first place in the point series as of now. Congratulations Valkyries!

They will be back in action this weekend for the third point series tournament in East Brainerd. Be sure to follow us on Game Changer for updates!

Our two home run hitters from this past weekend! Tinley was the first to rock our new home run chain, followed by Sophia!

We won both of our pool play games this past weekend and secured the second seed in gold. Although we faced a loss in our bracket play game, we finished 3rd in gold in the Tennessee Dizzy Dean Point Series #1 tournament.

We’re looking forward to hitting the field for the Tennessee Dizzy Dean Point Series #2 tournament in Soddy Daisy this weekend!

🎉 Our Two MVPs of the Day So Far! 🎉

Payslee made some awesome catches and key outs in Game 1, grabbing MVP for the game!

Addie came through with a game winning walk-off hit to snag MVP in Game 2!

The Valkyries triumphed in our last pool play game against Gruetli Lager Clutch and locked down the #2 seed in the tournament! We’re up against the Harrison All-Stars in the semifinals tonight at 7:45.

These All-Stars kicked off their summer season with a bang this morning, winning their first game against the Soddy Daisy Starlets! We can't wait to hit the field again this afternoon at 3:10 for our second pool play game against the Gruetli Laager Clutch.

The first season of the 8U Ooltewah Premier team has officially come to an end. This page will now transition to the OYA 8U All-Star team page for the summer. Congratulations to all the talented athletes who made the team! Follow along for updates throughout the summer. We’re excited to compete in various tournaments, including the Tennessee Dizzy Dean State and National tournaments! 🥎

We are excited to announce the players selected for our 8u Softball All-Star team this summer. Way to go girls! Hopefully, one more softball team announcement (10u) to come.

We had a couple of wins and a few losses today and were knocked out in the semifinals, but we’re proud of these girls—they show up, work hard, and improve every time. Big thanks to the players who step in to pick up with us, too. This season wraps up with a tournament on May 3rd. It’s been a blast watching them play, and we know they’re going to finish strong. Let’s go, Ooltewah Premier!

Ooltewah Premier will be back on the dirt tomorrow! Our first pool play game is at 9:05 against Rockmart Swarm, and our second one is at 12:20 against River City Renegades. Bracket play will follow after that.
