Well this weekend some of the MTE team took on Poplar Place Farm! We had the best time.
Lesley Myers Sophie & Lu got 4th in the Starter 3 phase!
Anna Baldwin & Gunner got a 3rd and a 4th in their jumper rounds! Gunner was a star for his first time off property in YEARS.
Heather Denis Smith & Chet got 4th in the Tadpole 3 phase!! Their first show together ever. Chet is not an easy ride, but he is a GREAT teacher and it was awesome getting to see him reward Smith for her efforts with him!
Sarah & Jolene had their first show as a team, and Sarah’s FIRST SHOW EVER!! They rode Intro A and placed 2nd!
Heather Sweet Aven & Sunny SMASHED their first Amoeba 3 phase! Leading by almost 8 points after dressage. These two are moving up to Starter!
Tess Prentice got to FLY herself down to watch her boy Chet and Smith’s first show as well! So cool.
Our amazing team family had meals for us, kept us cool in the heat, and so much more. A huge thanks to my amazing fiancé Garrett for taking time off of work to come and help us out and cheer on the girls!
I am so proud of the riders that these ladies are becoming. I think my favorite thing about this weekend was being able to sit and talk about how to push through when things don’t exactly go how you want them to with the girls. These ladies continuously want to be better for their horses, and better horsewomen overall. That is what I am most proud of. They put their horses first in every situation, and their horses reward them for that.
