Omaha Snipers Hockey Club

The Omaha Snipers is an adult Hockey Club based in Omaha, Nebraska. The Omaha Snipers Hockey Club is an adult Beer League hockey team based in Omaha, Nebraska.

We currently have 3 different teams in 3 different skill divisions; Sniper Green (Novice), Sniper Gold (Intermediate) and Sniper Black (Upper Intermediate). There is a 4th team that occassionally plays together called Sniper OG (Intermediate) which is a roster made up of the original Snipers. The Omaha Sniper teams play in 6-7 local adult beer league hockey tournaments a year:

The club is also very active in various fundraising events and either hosts or participates in the following events each year:

The Fall Brawl
An annual game(s) and Food Drive with the Omaha Menace Hockey club that started in 2019. The purpose of the event is to collect food items and raise awareness for the Foodbank of the Heartland. Warrior Military Appreciation Night
An annual friendly scrimmage with the Nebraska Warriors that started in 2019. The event takes place in Lincoln, Nebraska at Ice Box Arena. Our club makes a yearly donation to this chapter on bahalf of our club members. Toys for Tots
An annual friendly scrimmage and family skate with the Nebraska Warriors that started in 2020. The event takes place in Omaha, Nebraska and collects toy items for the Toys for Tots program. Oldie Ogelthorpe Hockey Tournament
An annual over 40 hockey tournament that started in 2021. The tournment consists of 6 teams made up of all skill levels. The tournament takes place in Omaha, Nebraska every June. Hockey For Hope
This event was created and hosted by the Omaha Snipers Hockey Club in 2020 to help raise funds for the American Red Cross Kansas Nebraska SW Iowa Region. The event consisted of 3 games with over 100 local Beer League Hockey players participating. The event raised $6,657.00 that was donated to the American Red Cross. The 2021 event was scheduled and then postponed due to County wide health restrictions. This event is currently on hold. The club was founded on January 30th 2018 by Nate Risdon, Pete Suski, Scotty Rynders and Johnny Stephens. The official club colors are Classic Gold, Black, Olive Green, and Red. The first official tournament the club participated in was The Good Life Tournament in April 2018.

The Daegan Page Memorial Hockey Tournament is just around the corner.

The event organizers are providing a couple public participation events: during the tournament weekend. Head out and join in!

Public Skate for Daegan Page Presented by War Pigs Hockey:
Saturday June 24th 12:15PM - 2:30PM. This Public Skate is open to all who would like to come skate in Daegan's honor. We encourage adults and their families to participate. Please see rink staff for tickets, proceeds will go to the CPL Daegan Page Foundation.

Beer Garden & Live music:
Saturday June 24th, we will have live music and a beer garden outside Moylan Tranquility Iceplex. Beer garden will be open 12PM - 9PM with live performances from Dr Webb & Daniel and the Deliverance.
