Leopard Sharks (GOAL) is a member club of USA Swimming that provides professional coaching for a wide range of swimmers in the Omaha, Nebraska and surrounding area. GOAL, established and incorporated in the Fall of 2001, is a coach-owned and operated competitive swim team that is a club member of the Midwestern Swimming Local Swimming Committee (LSC) of USA Swimming. ice groups practice at the City of Omaha's Montclair Community Center, which is 4 blocks north of Center on South 135th Ave., and at Brownell-Talbot, which is located on the south side of Underwood Ave. GOAL also practices at the City of Omaha's Mockingbird Community Center (102nd & Mockingbird Dr.), Westgate Pool (83rd & Grover), Regency Lake & Tennis Club (Pacific St. & Regency Pkwy) and the College of St. Mary’s (72nd & Cedar) on a part-time basis.

Hello,

As you know this year our Swim-a-Thon is partnering with the Swim for Sight foundation. This organization works directly with Olympic Swimmer Missy Franklin. We are very excited to announce that Missy has agreed to come to one practice, with one group, to help promote our Swim-A-Thon. To decide which group will meet with Missy we will have the group that is in the lead get the special “Missy practice.” So the group that has raised the most money per swimmer by Thursday the 27th at 8pm will get a special practice with Missy on Friday the 28th at UNO pool at 4pm. We will announce the winner on Thursday the 27th around 8:15pm.

Last winter, Olympians visited Mutual of Omaha to meet with local swimmers. We paired young athletes from Greater Omaha Aquatics League with the medalists and let the kids be the reporters.
