Olympia Lakefair Races features - Half Marathon, 8k & 3k and Kids Race. This is a running event for the whole family!

The 50th Lakefair Races are just around the corner on July 18th. Here is some last minute information for you ---

- Packet Pick-Up and Race Entry - Friday, July 17th 11 am - 7 pm at FLEET FEET, 3405 Capitol Blvd. SE, Olympia, WA. Race packet pick-up and race registration.

- Packet Pick-Up and Day of Race Entry - Saturday, July 18th 5:30 am - 7:45 am - Heritage Park at the corner of 5th Avenue SW and Sylvester St. SW next to the "Dancing Waters" fountain in downtown Olympia.

- Parking - Street parking is free on Saturday in downtown Olympia. Parking is readily available east of the finish line in the downtown area within a quarter a mile or less. Be aware that some streets will be closed for the race course.

** There will be an early start time at 6:00 am for any half marathoners predicting to run over a 3 hour race time. If you choose to do this, please pick up your packet on Friday and show up at the start line by 5:50 am on Saturday.

Temperatures are expected to be in the mid to high 70's on race day. The time to hydrate is now. Spend the next couple of days drinking lots of water. We will have plenty of water on the race course but it is important to hydrate a head of time.

The Lakefair Half Marathon is celebrating 50 years this year! Check this finisher medal out - beautifully designed to celebrate this milestone. Further, the race honors Jerry Miller, a long time contributor to the local running community with naming the race after him. Come celebrate and sign up if you haven't already done so!

If you notice something alittle "retro" with the design, yes — 2026 is the 50th anniversary of the Olympia Lakefair Races. The races began in 1975, and 2026 marks their 50th year.

Hey Runners! Tomorrow is race day - July 19th! Are you ready? As far as start times and locations, here is the lowdown for all three races.

- Lakefair Half Marathon; 7 am start (6 am for those who expect to run over a 3 hour race time). Start is on 5th Ave. SW directly opposite the door at 119 5th Ave. SW.

- Lakefair 8k; 8 am start at 5th Ave. SE and Sylvester Street SW.

- Lakefair 3k; 8:05 am start at 5th Ave. SE and Sylvester Street SW.

The Olympia Lakefair Races are less than a week away - it's time to enter! While it is really HOT today, by Saturday the high temps should be in the mid-70's, and with the races being over by 8:30-10:30 am, the temperature should be in the 50-60's during the races.

Prices go up on the day of race, so signup now while T-shirts are still available in most sizes.

There are almost 300 participant awards, free food and drink after the race and almost $1,000 in raffle prizes given out to those present. See you there! Kids 14 & Under are always FREE in the 3K Race, with Ice Cream cones from Sofie's Scoops as awards.

The price for the Olympia Lakefair Races go up FRIDAY, JULY 18th at 11:59 .
