Your back to back 2025-2026 Armed Forces Slugfest 11u “A” Division Champions! These boys fought their way to the top of a hard 11-team division this weekend, winning their last two games in come-from-behind fashion. And in the championship, it doesn’t get any more dramatic than a walkoff 3-run HR in the bottom of the 6th with 2 outs, which is exactly what Graham Slam delivered with his no-doubt over the fence 💣 to secure the trophy for his teammates. But truly, this title was a team effort shared among all 10 players. So proud of their effort and determination!

Some of the weekend’s highlights include:

* Graham Wike with 9 hits (including that walk-off HR!), including 15 total bases and 9 RBIs

* Miles Sumlin with 3 HRs and 7 RBIs

* Hunter Pomykala with 8 hits, including 1 HR and 15 total bases

* the team batting .463 for the weekend

* Jackie Brown with 5 innings pitched, W, 2 ER

* Michael Moran with 2 saves, 4 innings pitched, 0 ER

* Boone Kolb with the Finals W, 2 innings pitched

Your 11u Shock the World FINALISTS. 2nd out of 17 teams! To reach the championship game, these boys went 4-0, outscoring...

Your 11u Shock the World FINALISTS. 2nd out of 17 teams! To reach the championship game, these boys went 4-0, outscoring opponents 47-5. They ultimately lost to a very tough Loudoun Aces team but we couldn’t be prouder of the way they played all weekend. Five hard-fought games over two days for these 11 boys, all of whom left it all out on the field! Just a few of the many highlights, include:

* Graham batting .727 for the weekend
* Our team batting .485
* Miles and Jackie hitting HRs in the same inning!
* Jackie pitching 5 shutout innings
* Michael pitching a 5-inning complete game in the semis giving up only 3 hits and 1 earned run
* Connor pitching 3 innings and racking up 8 Ks (and stealing 12 bases!)

Great job, everyone!
