💧 💧 CHIP DRIP ALERT! 💧

Our Falcons came to play at the Patrick Shifflett Memorial Baseball Tournament this weekend! 🧢⚾️ The effort, energy, and teamwork were next level — here’s who earned the Chip Drip:

🔥 Nathan – 2 strong innings on the mound
🔥 Brian – Rock-solid on the bump all weekend
🔥 Carter – Closed it out like a champ to protect the lead and lock in the W 💪

🌟 Luca – Huge pop catch in center field
🌟 Max – Came up clutch with two key outs
🌟 Carter – Pop fly snag at 1st base
🌟 Luca – Took the mound for 1 strikeout + 1 out at first

🏆 Brian – Tournament-wide Chip Drip for excellence in both offense and defense — all-around standout! 🔥💯

Sandy Spring Falcons 9U Battle Hard Against BCC Big Train

The Sandy Spring Falcons 9U held their own against one of the toughest teams in the league Tuesday night. After taking a 4–2 lead in the 3rd inning, the Falcons played with grit and intensity, leading for two full innings and keeping it close all the way into the 5th.

Nathan V. led the charge, scoring twice, reaching base in two of three plate appearances, and making key plays in the field — earning him the Chip Drip MVP of the game. Carter S. delivered a clutch 2-RBI single, while Evan H. added an RBI with smart situational hitting. Bryce D. and Luca T. also came around to score, helping the Falcons build early momentum.

The team showed patience at the plate with six walks, aggressive baserunning with six steals, and solid pitching that held BCC to just three runs through four innings. A tough fifth inning shifted the momentum, but the Falcons proved they can hang with anyone.

Final score: BCC Big Train 12, Sandy Spring Falcons 4 — but the effort, growth, and grit were a win in themselves.

💙⚾️ A Special Baseball Moment ⚾️💙

This weekend’s game vs. 10U MoCo Grays brought more than just great plays—it brought a memory that will last a lifetime.

For the first time, Daniel Howard had the chance to catch for his big brother, John Howard, as John stepped in as our guest star/taxi player from the 11U team.

Seeing these two brothers on the same field, side by side, pitcher and catcher, was something truly special. Moments like this are what youth baseball is all about. 💫
