YK Taekwondo Academy is proud to celebrate an amazing achievement at the National Collegiate Taekwondo Association Championships!

Our team earned a total of 14 medals while competing against some of the top university athletes in the nation. We are incredibly proud of every athlete for their hard work, discipline, teamwork, and fighting spirit throughout the competition.

As the NYU Sport Taekwondo coaching staff, it is always an honor to help guide these athletes and represent high-level Taekwondo competition on the national stage.

Success in Taekwondo is not only about medals — it is about leadership, perseverance, confidence, and growth. We are excited to continue bringing this experience and energy back to our students at YK Taekwondo Academy!

🏆 2026 NY State Championship Results – Team Elite 🏆

We are proud to announce that Team Elite competed at the 2026 New York State Championship and brought home outstanding results!

All medalists from this event have officially qualified for the USAT National Championship, which will be held this July in Charlotte, North Carolina 🇺🇸

🔥 Special recognition to our first-time state competitors:
Olivia Kim, Emily Kim, and Jaidve Sondhi — all three athletes went undefeated and earned 1st place in their divisions! 🥇🥇🥇
