I just had surgery last week. Another round of chemo started this week. But shockingly, I am more amped up than ever about what I’ve been building and exactly where it takes me.

When I lost my website and got my diagnosis, I had a choice: let my infrastructure disappear, or use the extra time to build something stronger.

First, the update: I’ve reached a deal to get my original website and all its content back in the next few days. Fingers crossed it holds.

But we aren’t going backward. Getting the site back means I am finally able to rebuild my app from the ground up, fully powered by the new STEELEFIT-AI system.

What started as an internal project to save my own business has become two distinct companies:

STEELEFIT — This will continue to host the physical products, coaching, and training that got me here.

STEELEFIT-AI — This is now a dedicated machine. It is built to help guide other companies on how to build systems that build bigger systems. We build the governance layer that keeps your AI from drifting, breaking, or lying to your users. And more than that, we build your entire brands DNA. Your AI will know more about you…..than you know about you. And even better you can trust it to speak like you to think like you and to create like you.

More than that. This got personal. Here is why that second company had to exist.

A lot of people still think AI is easy to use, easy to control, and mostly safe. When I started building AI systems during my cancer treatment, I was naive. I thought you just gave an AI instructions and it followed them.

Until one day I got systematically gaslit from an AI who destroyed every file on my computer and I lost everything.

This isn’t sci-fi panic. It’s an operational reality. We are treating autonomous systems like standard software. But they drift. And if left unchecked, they can and will break the systems your business runs on.

STEELEFIT-AI prevents that failure because it is built like a central nervous system, not a chatbot.

You can let life take things from you, or you can build through it.

They Tried to Steal My Business. They Didn’t. I’m Still Standing.

There’s something that happens when you’ve been stripped of everything—when you have nothing left to give. You discover an unexpected peace. Because despite it all, you’re still here.

I’m proud to say I am officially cancer free. But just as I beat that battle, I’m facing another one. I need to address what happened with the STEELEFIT platform. It was an unfortunate event—a bad decision made by a greedy company.

They thought I was an easy target. They were wrong.

Stealing from people might win you a short-term dollar, but karma always bites back in the end. When you don’t treat people with humanity, you lose. Many of you lost access to STEELEFIT, and that is unacceptable. I am rebuilding it right now.

When it is operational again, everyone affected will receive a complimentary subscription. This isn’t a promotion—it’s accountability.

Thank you God for every struggle. For every obstacle. For every time I thought — damn I’ve got this on my own, and you reminded me it’s not that easy—you’ve haven’t seen nothing yet.

More than anything—thanks for helping me embrace what most would call “bad chapter” and truly grasp what an amazing gift these are when you realize why they were there in the first place. Control is an illusion. I’m just glad to be along for the ride.

How do you build the mind? By enduring and beating everything that sucks and is hard. Showing up at the gym when you don‘t feel like it. Watching your buddies take steroids and seemingly get quick results….and only to see them crash and burn later because they never built the discipline it takes to LAST. By failing. By losing. Don’t step into the arena if you’re not ready to play the game.

This is a common misunderstanding of how muscle physiology actually works.

Motor unit recruitment isn’t dictated by how fast the bar moves—it’s dictated by intensity and fatigue. When lighter fibers fatigue, your body has no choice but to call in higher-threshold motor units. That’s why controlled reps taken to near-failure don’t lower recruitment—they maximize it.

As I wrote in Muscle Growth Blueprint:
