🚨🏁 INTRODUCING THE SNOWBIRD RC DRAG RACING SERIES! 🏁🚨

Something NEW is coming to Florida RC Drag Racing! 🌴❄️

We’re excited to introduce the SNOWBIRD RC DRAG RACING SERIES, a six-event championship series running from September through March, bringing together Juni Speed and Okeechobee’s RC Society Speedway for one season-long battle for the championship! 🏆

🔥 6 EVENTS
🏁 2 TRACKS
👑 1 CHAMPION

The series will feature:

💥 Outlaw
💥 Limited Outlaw
💥 Pro Stock
💥 Bracket

Drivers who want to compete for the Snowbird Championship will pay $10 per event to earn series points.

🏆 HOW THE POINTS WORK

• 1 point just for registering and paying into the series per event
• 1 point for every round win
• Your lowest-scoring event will be dropped
• No minimum number of races required
• The Championship Finale will also award points and its mandatory to be eligible to win.
• Tie breakers will be decided by most round wins, followed by head-to-head if needed
•Multi day events will be awarded double points.

And for any class running A & B brackets / double entry, round wins from both brackets will be combined.

💰 THE FINISH

After 5 events, it all comes down to the Championship Finale.

WINNER TAKES ALL. 🏆🔥

This isn't just about winning one race. It's about showing up, collecting points, winning rounds, and staying in the fight all season long.

To keep everyone in the loop, we’re expecting our first race of the season to be after Hillbillies in September. If the weather cooperates and we’re able to squeeze in a race before then, we’ll definitely post it!

🏁 TRACK UPDATE 🏁

We know it's been a little quiet on our page lately, but don't mistake the lack of posts for inactivity!

Okeechobee's RC Society Speedway is still active and moving forward. We're simply taking a short summer break while we get through the intense Florida heat and unpredictable weather. 🌞🌧️

Behind the scenes, we're still planning, preparing, and looking ahead to the upcoming racing season. As temperatures cool down and conditions improve, we'll be back at the track and ready to make more memories with our RC family.

We appreciate everyone's continued support, patience, and enthusiasm. Stay tuned—there's plenty more racing to come!

To clear things up we reached out to RCDragRaces and they have explained the pairing process. This was the response:

"Entries are identified only by an ID number with no connection to the individual racer. During this process, the entries participating in the round are loaded and shuffled, then sent to a pairing module where they are shuffled again. Finally, any entries that have already had a bye are moved to the end of the order to ensure they do not receive another one. The order is shuffled three times as pairings are established." "The process is truly random, with the only exception being the logic used to distribute byes evenly."

With that being said, we trust the process and understand that true randomness can absolutely produce repeat matchups or other unusual outcomes.

We will continue to use the system for future events and we hope everyone (including us) now has a clear understanding of how it works.

May Money Mayhem is a wrap. 💰🏁

First & foremost, we would like to thank everyone who came out, the ones that traveled a hours to make it, all of our participants and spectators, the supporting wifes, the helping hands, and the entire RC Society crew.

We had a total of 47 entries plus double buy-backs. The race ran pretty smooth with a bug here and there, but overall it was an awesome day of racing.
