Ogallala Girls Wrestling is proud to celebrate our own Kanzah Arabi and the OID team for earning 5th place at the NSAA State Speech Contest!

Coach Max and a couple of our Ogallala Girls Wrestlers had the chance to represent the program at the Youth Summer Sign-Up hosted by Mid-Plains Community College!

Taryn and Tristan did a great job getting girls signed up and building excitement for our NEW Youth Powderpuff Football Camp this summer.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and showed support. We’re excited to keep growing opportunities for girls in our community!

This past week, a few of our Wrestlers spent some time giving back by reading with OPSD's younger learners during Read Across America Week. Camber, Anna, Taryn, and Mazzy volunteered their time to visit the elementary school and read with students.

One of the values we talk about in our program is service above self. Being part of this team isn’t just about what happens on the mat. It’s about being role models in our school and community.

These four did a great job representing Ogallala Girls Wrestling and showing our younger students that athletes can be leaders in the classroom too. We’re proud of them for stepping up and taking the time to make a difference. 📚🤼‍♀️

Each year the NSAA and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association recognize students who have been nominated by their schools based on their individual academic excellence, leadership, and significant contributions made to their NSAA activity.

Jalie Barnhill and Joslyn Wyatt were selected to represent Ogallala Girls Wrestling. Congratulations ladies on your Academic All-State Awards.

The SWC sportsmanship award was presented to Jalie Barnhill and Camber Lippert, who consistently demonstrated fair and generous behavior, setting a positive example for their teammates and serving as role models for the Ogallala Lady Indian Wrestling Program.

On Saturday, the middle school girls wrapped up their season at the Bluffs MS Girls Extravaganza, and they finished the year the right way.

The athletes got to experience full 18–22 wrestler brackets with double elimination. Many of our girls battled through the backside of the bracket, earning 4–5 tough matches in one day and showing just how much they’ve grown this season.

We couldn’t be more proud of the year they’ve had and the way they ended it strong.

We are so excited to be able to take our team to an individual team camp at 308 this summer. We can’t wait to learn and build our team.

On Tuesday, the Ogallala Middle School girls traveled to Alliance for a quad against Sidney, Kimball, and Alliance. The ladies came out strong and won all three duals.

They even came home with the ultimate prize, a bucket full of candy. Of course, they had to celebrate by making a “candy salad” together.

Great work, girls. Now let’s just hope all that sugar doesn’t slow you down for your final meet this Saturday in Scottsbluff! 🖤🧡🍬

Last Tuesday, our Ogallala Middle School girls traveled to Bayard and once again put on an amazing performance. The team came home with a ton of wins, plenty of pins, and a whole lot to be proud of! Tune in as they finish out their final week with a Quad in Alliance tomorrow and the Scottsbluff Invite Saturday.
