The Odessa Drillers join our community in honoring the life and service of OFR Lt. Isai Huerta.
Today, we encourage everyone to stand together in support of his family, fellow firefighters, and all first responders as Lt. Huerta is es**rted home to Odessa. If possible, please take a moment along the procession route to pay your respects.
Thank you, Lt. Huerta, for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to our community. You will never be forgotten.

Honor Es**rt for OFR Lt. Isai Huerta
Following an autopsy in Lubbock, Lt. Isai Huerta will be returned to Odessa under an honor es**rt. His arrival is currently estimated between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. We will provide an updated arrival time as soon as more precise information becomes available.
Upon arrival, an es**rt procession will accompany Lt. Huerta to Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Please be advised that road closures will be in effect along portions of the honor es**rt route and surrounding areas. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible.
Procession Route:
* Travel south on U.S. Highway 385 into Odessa from Lubbock.
* Turn left (east) onto Loop 338.
* Continue to 56th Street.
* Turn left (east) onto 56th Street.
* Continue to Billy Hext Road (Colorado Avenue).
* Turn right (south) onto Billy Hext Road.
* Continue to the Highway 80 service road.
* Turn right (west) onto the Highway 80 service road.
* Proceed to Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
The City of Odessa will be live streaming the honor es**rt on Facebook.
Additional details regarding the funeral service will be released in the coming days.
