Oconto Girls Softball Association is already looking ahead, and we need some help from our softball families and community to keep our program growing!

We have 3 BIG needs right now:

💙 NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Want to have a voice in the future of Oconto Girls Softball? We’re looking for people willing to bring new ideas, lend a hand, and help us continue building a great program for our girls.

🥎 8U COACHES FOR SUMMER 2027
We’re looking for coaches for our youngest players! You don’t have to know everything about softball. We need positive, dependable adults who are excited to help our girls learn the game, build confidence, and have FUN!

Reach out now so you can get involved with our off-season training beginning in January! It’s a great opportunity to get to know the girls and start working with them before the summer season begins.

💛 TOURNAMENT HELP
Maybe you’d love to be more involved but a 12-month board commitment just isn’t for you. That’s okay! Our tournament is a HUGE undertaking, and we would love to have more people join us in planning, organizing, and helping make it happen. You can make a big difference without becoming a board member!

🥎 Volunteers Needed! 🥎

We’re looking for a handful of awesome volunteers to help with the annual Oconto Girls Softball Association Sheboygan Walleye Club Concessions Fundraiser this Sunday at the Breakwater Marina! 🎣🥎

This is a great fundraiser for our girls, and we could really use some extra hands to make the day a success!

🍔 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: We need a few volunteers to help get things started, including grilling and getting the concession area ready.

⛵ 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM: We’ll need additional volunteers to help serve food and beverages as the boats come in. We’ll also be selling 50/50 raffle tickets.

The fundraiser should wrap up around 5:00 PM.

If you can give us a couple of hours—or stay for the whole event—we would be incredibly grateful! You don’t need to be a softball expert or have any special experience. Just bring yourself, a willingness to help, and a little Oconto Girls Softball spirit! 🥎💙

Congrats to the 12U Oconto Girls Softball Team on their 3rd place finish at the OGSA Summer swing tournament this past weekend! Way to go girls!

The 2026 Oconto Summer Swing Tournament was a success. With that we did have our annual Cash Raffle that the winners were drawn on Saturday night of the tournament, the winners are as follows:

A huge thank you to all of our families and supporters who went above and beyond with their time, effort, and dedication to make this tournament a success. Events like this simply would not be possible without an incredible community willing to step up and help.

A special thank you to Sarah Anderson, Kristen Tesch, the Bitters family, Danny Sellen, Adam Timm, the Helnore family, Wes Cherry, Jaimee O’Connor, Kara Otradovec, the Bachar family, Ashley Brunette, TJ Koch and anyone else I may have missed. Your willingness to give your time and support made a tremendous difference, and we are so grateful for everything you did.

💙 It Takes a Community 💙

One of the biggest reasons the Oconto Summer Swing Tournament is successful each year is the incredible support from our community.

This year, we were blessed with an amazing donation of 145 pounds of ground beef! Because of this generosity, we're able to keep concession costs down while raising even more money to invest back into the Oconto Girls Softball program. Every dollar saved helps us provide better equipment, facilities, and opportunities for our athletes.
