There’s nothing like starting the morning with a giant sausage biscuit! 😋🏈

This morning’s breakfast came courtesy of BMX Customs, Chris Suckow, and Fat Spoon Café, and they definitely understood the assignment. Fat Spoon served up some seriously BIG sausage biscuits, and judging by how quickly they disappeared, they were a hit with the players AND the coaches!

We love seeing our community take care of our Hounds, especially during these early mornings and long days of football season. Thank you to BMX Customs, Chris, and Fat Spoon Café for making this morning an extra good one for our boys!💙🐾

While taking snaps before sunrise is routine for the Greyhounds, the influx of youth stepping into starting roles following the departure of the 2025 senior class is new.

Ocean Springs saw the departure of many key pieces, with last year’s senior Greyhounds representing the coast at schools such as Mississippi State, the Naval Academy, and Arkansas State, paving the way for a high number of juniors and sophomores to step into starting roles.

Head coach Jake Bramlett understands that what the team lacks in age, it makes up for in experience, with many of the rising juniors and sophomores seeing significant playing time in their underclassmen years, and expects the team to have no shortage of leaders.
