Over the years these girls have formed an incredibly unbreakable bond. One thing is for certain, they will always have each other’s backs whether they’re playing on the same side of the ball or facing off against each other. Congratulations to Maddie #33 on reaching the 100-strikeout milestone this summer 🥎 102 innings in the circle for Saratoga Thunder, Maddie recorded her 100th strikeout against the final batter of her final game.

This milestone is even more impressive considering the level of competition. Our schedule was filled with talented second-year 14U teams with strong lineups from top to bottom, making every strikeout hard-earned.

Pitching may start in the circle, but it’s never a solo accomplishment. A huge shoutout to Ayla #11, who was behind the plate for nearly every one of those strikeouts, and Coach Teddy, whose pitch calling helped guide the way.

Only 12 of the original 31 teams remain, and Saratoga Thunder is proud to be one of them.

Today’s 3 games were filled with big moments, gritty performances, and outstanding softball against some of the toughest competition we’ve faced all season. We’re incredibly proud of the way these girls competed.
